Can you find the comet? In this photo, it is just a dot. Not sure how it will survive the export to jpg and upload to the web! It has survived the journey from the outer reaches of the solar system, just to be destroyed by me? Oh no!
The comet is the little light spot in the lower left corner, a bit above the tree line. It is not any of the horizonal bright lines... those are jet contrails in the light of the setting sun. There is a cheater photo below if you need some help!
Photo info: 170mm, f/5.0, 1/250 sec, ISO 200. Tripod mounted, live view lockup. Remote switch.
Lesson's learned: Comets are fun. This is the first one I've seen. Just have to scan the sky with binoculars, then click away. I hope we get more clear skies.
