Zoomed on the marque of the new old Cary Theater - "The Cary". This Art Deco marque as added about a year ago. Wish it was a little more brightly lit - I may be the only one in Cary that thinks this way! For the most part it worked well for my purpose. I do have some thoughts on doing something similar, but a little different, and I will use a different subject.
This was shot by placing the camera firmly in the tripod down the street from the theater. I started at 360mm and zoomed out to about 100mm during the 2 second exposure. Only minor adjustments in Lightroom - a little clarity added, a little vibrance boost, brought the white point down and the black up a bit.
